Johnny K’s reputation has been built on one key element: handmade. All meat, poultry and produce is sourced locally, along with using local bakeries. All sauces and dressings are made in-house using generations-old recipes. Johnny K’s believes in making all products and meats inhouse and by hand—the way the Donair was originally intended.

JOHNNY K’S PROVIDES FRANCHISEES WITH THE FOLLOWING:
Johnny K’s helps all franchisees with finding the proper site for their franchise. They assist in recognizing areas that are high in volume and traffic, and ready for this style of restaurant.
Knowing how to negotiate a lease is critical to the long-term success of a franchisee. Johnny K’s head office will help with the approval process by fully executing the lease and provide a sublease to franchisees, which provides experienced solutions to any potential issues.
Initial Training & Grand Opening Support
Johnny K’s initial franchisee training begins in Johnny K’s in-house training facility for two weeks. Once the franchisee’s facility is ready, there will be a three week training period to ensure all equipment and leaseholds are up to Johnny K’s standard and operating at optimal efficiency.
Other Initial Support
Johnny K’s provides legal, financial and administrative support during the initial launch to ensure that all franchisees begin their operation with a proper foundation.
Johnny K’s provides franchisees with a list of suppliers who have been approved by head office to ensure the highest in quality equipment and product.
Johnny K’s will provide a how-to-guide including policies and procedures, operating standards, including management documents, food preparation and ordering, inventory and financial controls, equipment operation and maintenance.
Ongoing Training and Support
A Johnny K’s head office employee will visit your site on a monthly basis to provide ongoing training and support. Any questions you have regarding ordering, repairs, and training can be directed to one of Johnny K’s experienced head office employees.
Johnny K’s provides franchisees with a state-of-the-art inventory control system that allows franchisees to virtually to account for every item sold.
Suggested Retail Prices
Johnny K’s provides all franchisees with a suggested retail menu that is tailored to their specific area and location. This ensures that all sites are profitable and maintain a certain profit margin by following a suggested retail pricing.
Marketing and Merchandising
Johnny K’s offers a comprehensive marketing plan for all franchisees as well as provide ongoing national marketing to ensure a competitive brand in the marketplace.

Johnny K’s will provide financial performance representations in our
pro-forma. However, profitability will depend considerably upon the franchisees ability to manage the day-to-day operations and finances. External factors specific to each location such as occupancy, local store marketing costs, labor costs and the potential for sales will also affect overall success.
Johnny K’s will require all interested franchisess to complete a franchise application form, including information such as business experience, available capital, financing needs, partners, personal balance sheet, references and preferred locations.
STARTUP CAPITAL REQUIRED: $50,000

4. DO YOUR HOMEWORK

Johnny K’s would arrange an in-depth meeting to ensure this is a right fit for both parties. Come prepared with any and all questions. This is the time to get to know each other.
6. SEAL THE DEAL
Sign the franchise agreement and all supporting documents and pay the initial franchise fee, which begins the franchising process.
7. BUILD YOUR FUTURE
You’ll locate your ideal location, then Johnny K’s will do a site visit to evaluate. Once the site is secured, training is scheduled, construction begins, and upon completion of construction your new restaurant opens for business!
